Meet Our 2015 Short Talk Speakers
Our final choices from the CanUX 2015 call for speakers have been revealed.
It’s time.
After our most popular Call for Speakers to date, we’ve finally chosen the list of short talks for CanUX 2015. The Call is an important part of CanUX: while we strive to bring you the biggest and brightest in UX, CanUX was built by the community and it’s important for us that we showcase its members every year.
We received a slew of top-notch proposals this year. A giant internet high five goes out to everyone who submitted. Many thanks to all those fantastic submissions we had to think long and hard because we only had four. spots. to. fill.
But we did it. And while we couldn’t choose everyone, we hope that this year’s selection of short talks will bring some interesting perspectives and unique stories to the stage.
Here is the final selection of short talk speakers for CanUX 2015: (in alphabetical order)
- Kat Kavanagh from Capra Design Limited, “Proof is in the prototype”
- Annemarie Lesage from Yucentrik, “Too successful: What did we miss?”
- Jarred Szabadi from GymTrack, “User Experience in the Age of IOT”
- Bruce H. Tsuji from Carleton University Department of Psychology, “How I Made A MOOC & Learned To Love The War”
We look forward to having them take the stage!
