Meet our 2016 Short Session Speakers

We’re excited to reveal our final choices from our 2016 Call for Speakers.

After a flurry of submissions (40+ from 3 continents) and a tough time deliberating, we’ve managed to narrow the field down to 3 short talks for CanUX 2016. While we strive to bring you the the most relevant content in UX for any particular year, CanUX was built by our community of practice, and it’s important for us that we showcase some of its members every year.

We received some really fun proposals this year covering a wide variety of topics. Props and a giant internet high five goes out to everyone who submitted. We know it’s not easy! Thanks to all your hard work on those fantastic submissions. Given the quality of the submissions, narrowing them down to a list of only THREE was not an easy process.

But we finally did it and we hope that this year’s selection of short talks will bring some interesting perspectives and unique stories to the stage.

• Dave Hale (@davechale) CEO at Soshal (Ottawa, ON) presenting “Haunted House UX”;
• Beth Fox @firebethfox UX Lead at the Government of Nova Scotia (Halifax, NS) presenting “Minimum Viable User Experience”;
