Save the Date: CanUX Returns to Ottawa in 2025

Preparations for our next edition are under way…

 CanUX is back in Ottawa in 2025.

Following up the construction fiasco at our venue last year, we’re delighted to announce that the construction has largely concluded and the 13th edition of CanUX will take place once again in Ottawa this Fall. We’re delighted to annouce that the conference will be moved forward by about a month in order to take advantage of better weather for our outdoor activities.

The dates for this year’s CanUX conference will be Wed-Sat, October 1 – 4, 2025. Similar to our last edition, the plenary conference days will be Friday and Saturday (Oct 3-4, 2025). Our usual two days of workshops will precede the conference on Wednesday and Thursday (Oct 1-2, 2025) and will feature hands-on activities led by renowned experience design professionals from Canada and abroad.

We’re also thrilled to be returning to our amazing venue, the Canadian Museum of History (formerly the Canadian Museum of Civilization) Theatre, which, unlike 2024, should have all of its renovations completed by the time CanUX 2025 rolls around.

Our organizing team are working once again to bring in a special all-star lineup of UX professionals from around the world. Back this year will also be the newbie dinners on Thursday, Oct 2nd, the cinq a sept (happy hour) and the afterparty on Friday, Oct 3rd.
