Figma’s Jenny Wen Will Feature at CanUX 2022

Since FigJam’s launch last year, the team has shipped dozens of features, big and small, to bring fun to working together virtually. High-fives, washi tape, cursor chat, reactions, stamps, stickers, and more.

One question the team frequently gets is, how do we prioritize things that bring people joy, but don’t seem to push any sort of traditional success metric? In this session, I’ll share more about FigJam’s and Figma’s overall approach to the product and design process, as well as ways your team can put joyful design on the roadmap.

 Speaker Bio: Jenny Wen

Based in San Francisco, CA, Jenny is a product design manager at Figma, leading the team that works on FigJam. FigJam is a collaborative whiteboard tool that makes working with your team joyful again. She led the design of FigJam since its inception and brought Figma’s second product to market in 2021.

In the past, she’s made other tools for humans including: Dropbox Paper, Square for Retail, and Shopify Shipping. Hailing from Burlington, ON, Jenny, a proud Waterloo engineering grad, is the fourth Canadian in our 2022 lineup.
