You can study all the methods of UX design, but what do you bring to your work? Adaptive Path co-founder Jesse James Garrett has spent more than 15 years working alongside some of the most talented designers in the world. In this talk he shares the personal qualities that he’s seen make them successful, and ways all designers can cultivate these qualities in themselves.

Speaker Bio: Jesse James Garrett

Jesse James Garrett’s career in human-centered design includes co-founding the first UX consultancy, Adaptive Path; writing the foundational book The Elements of User Experience, whose iconic five-plane model has become a staple of the field; and defining Ajax, the dynamic interaction model that transformed web technology and design in the Web 2.0 era.
