NASA Researcher Lynn Boyden Joins Our 2022 Lineup
We’re delighted to announce the first ever NASA researcher on the CanUX stage.
Speaker Bio: Lynn Boyden
Lynn Boyden is a sociotechnical researcher at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), where she conducts research and develops strategy to inform enterprise policy development and service design. She trained as a librarian at UCLA and has provided strategy, user experience research, and information architecture for a number of digital agencies, Symantec, UCLA, and USC.
Her strategy consultancy in Los Angeles includes clients such as Instagram, the California State Library, the UCLA School of Nursing, UCLA Marketing & Communications, the LA County Museum of Art, the University of Illinois, KBHome, and others. At USC she worked with internal clients to revamp the business processes and web content for the entire business and finance operation of the university. She developed the strategy for the main USC gateway and countless school, administrative, and research unit sites on campus.
She has taught user experience design in the Master’s degree program in Information Studies at UCLA since 2001, and also teaches in the Design Tech department at Santa Monica College. She is an active speaker, mentor, and advocate for equity and professional communities in user experience, research, information architecture, and content strategy both locally and globally.
