Parking
Paid parking is available at the museum, and is open Monday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Museum parking rates are $2.75 per half hour for a maximum daily rate of $13.
Parking at the museum can be paid using either cash or credit card.
Free parking is available at the Maison du citoyen parking steps away from the museum.
By Foot / Bicycle
The Museum is located right on the scenic Voyageurs Pathway. You can walk or bike from Ottawa via the Alexandria Bridge, which is adjacent to the museum. Bike racks are available on the Plaza and close to the Panorama Café terrace.
eScooters
Please note that eScooters are only permitted on the Ottawa side of the river and therefore you cannot make your way to our conference venue using them.
O-Train LRT and Buses
The Canadian Museum of History is accessible by bus from Ottawa and Gatineau. To reach the Museum by bus, please use the OC Transpo or the STO (Société de transport de l’Outaouais) trip planners.
